From Jeff Darcy, NE Ohio Media Group:
“What’s been missing from cable news coverage of the missing Malaysian airline with 239 Mothers, Fathers, daughters, and sons on board, has been news, credibility and good journalism.
CNN did something Wednesday evening I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed before. While CNN’s overnight anchor was reporting the breaking news that Australia had found what may be debris from Flight 370, another anchor, Don Lemon, broke in with a ”CNN Special Report” that Australia had found what may be debris from Flight 370. Not long after, Anderson Cooper broke in to Don Lemon’s report to report on breaking news that Australia had found debris. It wouldn’t have surprised me if Bill Murray appeared next, reprising his weatherman role from “Groundhog day”and forecasting climate conditions in the search area.”
