Up this morning to thank you for the calm of your site here, wendye, and the UK message which belatedly I sent over to MoA as folk there seem determined to pursue shock and awe, even b somewhat. Pressure? One can’t tell of course. But I wearied on finding sanity yesterday with the wind blowing through, so garden not an option even though the two big nectarines are determined to bloom.
I have to say, even with how communicative the virus is, I’m starting to feel this whole setup has other elements we aren’t seeing, and no, nothing to do with 5G whatever that is. Somehow, the world has had enough, sort of a ‘pay no attention to that man behind the curtain’ moment. And when I say ‘the world’ I’m not pointing any fingers – this is bigger than any one mindful initiative – it is just a pulling back of the curtain by nature itself, whoever or whatever may have been the cause of it, and I’d say we all are that as well. And the dominoes go down. Last straw on the camel’s back, yada yada yada.
Sorry to be mixing metaphors there. It is a world, though, and a beautiful one this time of year. There’s more than a bit of madness and exposure, especially here in this country. I’d call it a winnowing.

Indeed, ‘shock and awe’ hastily and savagely presented is what I see from many governments, even state ones. It’s important to keep us scared, but I take this also to be true:

Those dangers come into play from what I have read of the body’s own systems being used in serious cases to cause effective increase of the virus. I don’t understand how that happens, just that it is the immune system going haywire. As could happen if we are, as it were, frightened to death on a democratic level (small d).
The Santa Fe New Mexican, where I have been following items about the rate of increase of covid cases , has stopped identifying individuals found positive by gender and age, ramping up the numbers tested. That’s all it is, more tests, and we are supposed to get scared. I’m just getting angry. I hope that doesn’t feed the virus. Better just be calm and aware. Okay; will try.
